The President received letters of credence from the first Tajik ambassador to Lithuania

Wednesday, November 30, Vilnius - Dalia Grybauskaitė received letters of credence from Ambassador Kozidavlat Koimdodov of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations and the perspectives of economic cooperation between the two countries. Dalia Grybauskaitė congratulated the first Tajik ambassador to Lithuania and expressed belief that his appointment would promote closer bilateral contacts.

Diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Tajikistan were established in 1992. The diplomat resides in Minsk.
