The President received letters of credence from Kuwaiti Ambassador

Tuesday, November 16, Vilnius - President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė received letters of credence from the Ambassador of Kuwait, Musaed R. Al-Haroun.

The President and the Ambassador talked about cooperation between Lithuania and Kuwait in the energy sector and discussed possibilities for mutual investment. The President underlined Lithuania's interest in cooperation in the fields of energy technologies, agriculture and financial services. The Ambassador invited the President to visit the Persian Gulf Region and implement joint projects in this region.

The President wished the Ambassador every success in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

Musaed R. Al-Haroun is the fourth ambassador of Kuwait accredited to Lithuania. The diplomat resides in Berlin. Diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Kuwait were established on 5 April 1994.
