The President extended condolences to the Philippine leader over the loss of hundreds of lives in floods

Monday, December 19, Vilnius - President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended condolences to President Benigno S. Aquino III of the Republic of the Philippines over the devastating consequences caused by Tropical Storm Washi which resulted in the loss of hundreds of innocent lives and left thousands of people homeless.

"In this hour of immense pain and grief, I wish strength and fortitude to the victims' families and friends, to you, Mr. President, and to the people of the Philippines," Dalia Grybauskaitė wrote in her message of condolences.
