Press ReleasesDalia Grybauskaitė presents letters of credence to Lithuania’s Ambassador to the international organizations in GenevaFriday, April 6, Vilnius - President Dalia Grybauskaitė presented letters of credence to Rytis Paulauskas, Lithuania's Ambassador at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
According to the President, work in international organizations is a good opportunity to introduce Lithuania and its priorities. Dalia Grybauskaitė underlined that Lithuania's upcoming EU presidency would be a great challenge while representing the country.
The President wished the Ambassador every success in discharging the responsible duties of his position and thanked for the previous activities - successful organization of Lithuania's chairmanship of the OSCE.
The 42-year-old diplomat speaks English, Russian and French. In the course of his diplomatic career, Rytis Paulauskas served in the diplomatic missions of Lithuania in Strasbourg, New York, Vienna, and in various divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Press Service of the President
