Dalia Grybauskaitė congratulated President-elect of Bulgaria

Wednesday, November 2, Vilnius - President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended congratulations to President-elect Rosen Plevneliev of Bulgaria.

"I sincerely wish you every success in implementing the reforms which, even though complicated, have the support of your citizens and carry great importance to your country, as well as in ensuring peace and prosperity for Bulgaria and its people. I also wish that cooperation between Bulgaria - under your leadership - and Lithuania be further developed in a constructive way; and therefore I would like to take the opportunity to kindly invite you to come to Lithuania on an official visit at a time convenient to you," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.

Dalia Grybauskaitė called on the President-elect of Bulgaria to work together in the European Union and NATO towards advancing mutual understanding and dialogue between Bulgaria and Lithuania as well as overcoming all challenges through common efforts.
