Young music talents performed at the Presidential Palace

Sunday, February 28, Vilnius - The Column Hall of the Presidential Palace hosted a concert of young music talents, international competition laureates.

Last week, President Dalia Grybauskaitė congratulated the international prize winners, wishing them to perform at the most famed Lithuanian and world stages, to foster and develop their talent and to bring forth distinctive new interpretations to life for the enjoyment of music lovers.

Among the performers at Sunday's concert were the Vilnius Karoliniškės Music School Flute Quartet and Chamber Group, Kanklės Trio with soloists from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, String Quartet of the Čiurlionis School of Arts as well as the Vilnius Naujoji Vilnia Music School Accordion Orchestra and Chamber Group.

The concert was presented to the audience by music critic Vaclovas Juodpusis.
