Palm Sunday Concert at the Presidential Palace

Sunday, March 28, Vilnius - A concert - Spring Music and Poetry - was held at the Presidential Palace on Palm Sunday.

City residents and guests had the opportunity to enjoy the performance of Jūratė Vizbaraitė (soprano), Viltė Gineitytė (student of Choral Singing School Liepaitės), Marta Lukošiūtė (soprano), and Tadas Girininkas (bass). The accompaniment was by Aleksandras Vizbaras.

Among the other performers at the Palm Sunday concert were Viktorija Marija Zabrodaitė (flute), Brigita Narmontaitė (accordion, student of Music School Lyra), folk instrument group Ievarėlis from Balys Dvarionas Music School as well as a birbynė (folk reed-pipe) group and wind quintet from the Čiurlionis School of Arts. The concert was presented to the audience by music critic Vaclovas Juodpusis.

Actress Gražina Urbonaitė read poems by Justinas Marcinkevičius to celebrate his jubilee birthday.
