President Dalia Grybauskaitė attended the inauguration of the newly elected Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili in Tbilisi, where she represented the European Union as head of the presiding member state. The Lithuanian and Georgian presidents met after the inaugural ceremony held in front of the Parliament building. It was the Georgian President's first official bilateral meeting with a foreign head of state.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė presented to the Council of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) - one of the world's most influential organizations - Lithuania's preparations for OECD membership and answered questions from ambassadors of 34 countries. Only economically developed and stable countries can become members of this organization. It currently comprises 34 strongest economies.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė, who is attending Poland's Independence Day commemoration in Warsaw, congratulated the Polish people on the occasion of their national holiday. She had a bilateral meeting with the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, which focused on regional security issues, common energy projects and the upcoming Vilnius Summit where the future of the EU's relations with its Eastern neighbors will be decided.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė, together with Latvian President Andris Bērziņš, Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, attended NATO Response Force Exercise Steadfast Jazz 2013 at the Adazi Base in Latvia - the first such exercise in the region. It is the largest NATO exercise since 2006.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė met with Latvian President Andris Bērziņš and Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves. It is a traditional annual meeting of the three Baltic presidents who gather to discuss topical regional issues and ways to strengthen cooperation among their countries.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė, currently on a working visit to Brussels, together with European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President José Manuel Barosso attended a coordination meeting to discuss major issues on the European Council agenda. Dalia Grybauskaitė briefed the EU leaders on continuing trade restrictions by Russia on the Lithuanian dairy products.

During her working visit in New York, President Dalia Grybauskaitė presented state decorations to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and artist Michael Philip Davis. The decorations were awarded on the occasion of the Lithuanian State Day, but H. Clinton and M. Davis could not collect them during the awards ceremony on 6 July. President delivered a speech at the general debate "The Post-2015 Development Agenda" during the 68th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. The discussion includes assistance to the developing countries and challenges faced on the path towards sustainable development of the countries around the world.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė together with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych opened an international Yalta conference held to discuss Ukraine's European perspective. The President underlined that the European Union is ready to sign an Association Agreement with Ukraine at the Vilnius Summit this coming November. Therefore, the last remaining months are very important both to Ukraine and the EU. On Ukraine's efforts next month will depend whether it is really determined to build its European future, or maybe it will yield to the pressure and threats giving up the achievements and results of the past five years.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė took part in the conference "Visions for Europe" held at the European Policy Centre where she delivered a speech on the challenges faced by the EU's energy policy and its prospects for the future. The participants of the conference included foreign diplomats, EU officials, business people, and representatives of non-governmental organizations, trade unions, regional and local institutions.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė, currently on a working visit in the United States of America, met with President Andris Bērziņš of Latvia and President Toomas Hendrik Ilves of Estonia in Washington. Before their White House meeting with President Barack Obama, the Baltic heads of state reviewed issues of primary importance to the Baltic region at a trilateral working level. The Presidents of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and the United States of America signed a joint political declaration at the White House, reaffirming the commitment of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and the United States to strengthen their strategic cooperation on defence as well as on energy, cyber and economic security.
