Christmas Greetings from President Dalia Grybauskaitė
Dear Fellow People of Lithuania,
Christmas Eve gathers the closest and dearest to share the Christmas wafer. Togetherness brings us joy and happiness.
Christmas is a time of hope and faith.
We clearly understand that only together we can make wise decisions leading to the fulfillment of our hopes and expectations.
May success stay with all our endeavors and may resolve and the support of friends keep us safe from harm.
I would like to send special greetings to children who are impatiently waiting for Christmas. Children are the most precious gift we have.
I would like to thank all those who have joined the "Christmas of Books" action enriching public library collections and making our children's wish to read new books come true.
May Christmas bring us more faith in tomorrow. May happiness follow you home and stay with you always.
Let us share our strength and the good things we have.
I wish you all a happy and hopeful Christmas!
