Congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on Republic Day

Dear Mr. President,

Please accept my congratulations on the occasion of Azerbaijan's national holiday - Republic Day. On behalf of the Lithuania people and on my own behalf, I wish you much happiness, well-being and prosperity.

I would also like to express my strong hope that positive and pragmatic ties between Lithuania and Azerbaijan in economic, cultural, energy, political and social areas will be consistently expanded. I firmly believe that our bilateral contacts not only help to consolidate the security and welfare of the citizens of Lithuania and Azerbaijan, but also promote broader cooperation in the whole region from the Baltic to the Caspian seas.

Once again, congratulations on Republic Day. Please accept, Mr. President, the assurance of my highest consideration.
